Well as I talked about last week, I am not taking a break. So we are now jumping right into the next issue. And you know what, at the beginning of a new issues I think it's nice to do some reflecting. Rogue Programming started out as a practice. A means to figure out pay layout, pacing, and all those things everyone has given me great feedback on. Because I have a serious, darker and more violent comic that I want to create, but I needed to know what I was doing.
Instead several years later I am still going forward with Rogue Programming, but barely started my “serious” comic. In fact what I have planned for Rogue Programming is exciting. I have learned that pacing in a webcomic is very different from a monthly comic. And I have made attempts to adjust that. I have also realized that it is time for some of those character altering tramas. So guess what, all four of our heros are about to have some serious serious trauma.
I have also tried to adjust some artwork with this next issue. I was repeatedly counseled on the block lines on my frames, and have adjusted those according to the feedback I got. Also I have really tried to improve the artwork. My hope and desire is that each issue is noticeably better than the one before.

On that new page for your darker tome, the line shading and detail is nice and the balance with the grey is good as well. The only thing I would find less than ideal is that the figures are perhaps more hidden than I would want. But maybe that is the point, they're supposed to be hard to see. It may tie into the ambience of the story itself.

I'm kind of surprised you haven't given Syn a bit more of a "Terminator" aura lately. The glowing eyes, the data assimilation, the exposed machinery of her chassy. I would have thought to make her a bit more frightening/sexy, somewhat like Seven of Nine. (It doesn't have to be anything vulgar or explicit) This is only my opinion, I speak for nobody else, but how you've set up the tone for Rogue Programming doesn't seem to support humor the best. It gives me far more of soft erotic/fantasy horror vibe. That genre-crossing could serve you quite well if handled with stronger emphasis. But then again, my work is about as subtle as a bulldozer. I tend to be more "savage and exotic" in my works, as one person put it.
